A Kind Word and water colouring

Hello my stamping friends

Yesterday I did some water colouring, it's always so relaxing, this is what I came up with teaming up Stampin' Up! A Kind Word stamp set with Regal Rose and Kraft card stock.

I coloured the image in using ink pads, Aqua painter and water colour paper.  I then cut it out leaving a narrow white boarder right around and attached it onto the embossed heart with Stampin' Up! Dimensionals

I embossed the heart with the Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka dots Embossing Folder.

 I used Regal Rose 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon for the bow and stamped the Happy Birthday from Teeny Tiny Sentiments which I punched out with the Medium Jewelry Tag Punch.

Here is a closeup of my water colouring.  {Click on image for a better look} ... I guess everyone has a different interpretation of which colours would suit a certain stamp, this is my version :)  ~ Can't live without that Blush Blossom Marker, {Tip: be sure to order your Blush Blossom Reinker so you will be able to reink your Marker when it dries out a little, the Blush Blossom Ink Pad, Reinker and Cardstock will all be discontinued after September 1st.  Most markers in the discontinued colours are going to be great to have for colour variation, shading and depth when colouring with the new colour pallete}

Speaking of discontinuing colours, be sure to order your favourites before they run out.  Stampin' Up! have advised that some of the colours and Papers are no longer available, please do not leave ordering until the last minute, as once stocks are exhausted you will not be able to get them ever again.
