Elements of Style & Shimmer Paint

Hello stamping friends!

Elements of Style - Wow I absolutely adore this set.

(Page 99 of Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogue
$49.95 Wood mount, $39.95 clear mount)

I made up my own glimmer mist using  Champagne Shimmer Paint and Isocol (rubbing alcohol $10.00 at the Chemist) which I put into a spray bottle and spritzed my card for some amazing sparkle.  Judge for yourself, and oooh it is so sparkly in the sunlight.

I  pretty much stuck to Early Espresso, Crumb Cake Cardstock and inked up my stamps with Soft Suede which I also used to ink my edges.  Soft Suede is an absolutely fantastic colour for sponging edges.

See the little "for you" sentiment, I punched out some Early Espresso Cardstock with the Modern Label Punch ( $33.95, Item number 119849) and cut it in half and slipped both ends behind my punched out sentiment adjusting the length by overlapping behind.  Great Punch!

Hope  you love my card.  I see so many possibilities with this stamp set, I think it has to be my all time favourite!  Imagine the whole card in Marina Mist - for a blue Wedgwood type of look or Rich Razzleberry (yum)…. and I haven't even started on the other three stamps in this set!  Be on the lookout for more cards, I love the femininity of Elements of Style :)
