Friends 24-7 and Friendly Words

One of my all time favourite stamp sets from the current catalogue is Friends 24-7 and the matching jumbo wheel Friendly Words as this set of stamps just lends itself to so many styles.

Here is one of the cards we made in my weekly stamp class, everyone's turned out a little different which is why with a chabby chic style of stamping it adds to the feel of the card if it's a little bit crooked, a little distressed just like it's meant… perfect for everyone.

You will notice that I stamped the damask stamp twice, once on the background and again onto the main image, then layered one on top of the other and finished the card off with some Chocolate coloured Kaiser Pearls.

Add a little clip from the Stampin' Up! Clip assortment (24 pieces ~$13.25) with a little ribbon knot for 3D visual interest and the card is all finished.  Hope you like it :)

Wagon Full of Fun

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to share with you an Easter Card I made using the  Wagon Full of Fun Set from the Summer Mini catalogue.   The background is scored and decorated with Liquic Pearls the duck is coloured using an Aqua Painter and inks.  I think this little duck would also look really cute if shaded with pastels.

Butterfly Prints - Stampin' Up! Summer Mini 2010 Catalogue

Hello Everyone :)

Just a very quick post to share for today, these two cards literally took less than 10 minutes to put together.

I am enjoying using this stamp set because it is just so easy to create a card that looks like it took a little longer to make.

Even though I make so many cards I never seem to have the right one for the right person lol… I Have now started to make a few cards without the sentiment as it's really nice to add it when I need it ;) which is usually right as we're walking out the door.

I used the Butterfly Prints Stamp Set and the matching Butterfly Punch which is only available from the Summer Mini until the end of this month.

Happy Moments ~ Sale A Bration Stamp Set

A group of us got together this week for a stamping morning, instead of our usual class we decided to have a "just play and chat day"... we all came up with different cards, this is the one I made.  It is actually a little more 3D  I'll see if I can take another photo quickly...

I used the Happy Moments Sale a Bration Stamp set.  Ever since I first got these stamps, the little bird from the Happy Moments Sale-a-Bration set was just crying out for a "french" style of card, lol ~ I guess pink and black with a modern twist was my interpretation.  Next time I must use the Nestabilities Labels 4 to frame my little bird cage, I think it would look really cute!

Cardstock colour is Pink Passion, Background stamp from Flourishes and the punch is from EK Success.  Thank you my lovely stamping friends for your lovely comments I really do appreciate reading them, talk soon, I hope you like my card for today :)

Echoes of Kindness …a Sympathy Card

This is a card I made a week ago for our son's teacher whose father died suddenly whilst playing football.  A wonderful man who gave of himself in so many ways always putting others first.  Rest in Peace Neil Bloxsidge.

I love creating my own background paper …you will notice that the background stamp is a brand new one, it is actually a large jumbo wheel available in the new Mini catalogue from 1st April.

The image itself was coloured with an Aquapainter and inkpads on watercolour paper.  I highlighted the flowers with Radiant Pearls and a paintbrush to give it a little glimmer.

Some more cards to share, these are cards we made in my weekly card making class some time ago, I thought I would post these as they were simply so fast to make and fast and easy is always a good when you're in a hurry to make a card at the last minute.

I love using the new Kaleidoscope Designer Print Paper as it is such a bright and pretty paper.  Teamed up with a pack of Bold Brights card stock these sure make for fast cards that look great.
