Hello Everone :)
Today I am going to show you my craft space and how I store everything.
I am very lucky to have 2 large enclosed Cabinets in which I basically keep my stamps and cardstock as well as my dies and embossing folders… A couple of doors at the bottom {the ones I can't get to on the far end} house all our tax records.
I have my cardstock organized into individual drawers. They are 5 drawer storage containers which you can buy at K-Mart, Offic-Works, Big W and some of the cheap dollar stores. On top of these storage containers I keep my Copics and my Stampin' Up Markers.
Look they are all organized in the new colour groups! Looks yummy hugh! ;) There are some empty drawers just waiting for the new colours to be introduced in September 2010.
The Shelf above houses my Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, cardstock as well as other 12 x 12 paper from various other companies.
There are 9 individual Storage Organisers, each with 5 drawers. I bought these at Office Works, I liked them in black with clear fronts, however I do know that you can get other colours depending where you purchase them. I have 3 stacked on top of one another and they're actually quite stable.
Within each drawer, laying on top my full sized sheets cardstock, I keep a plastic sleeve for my cardstock scraps.
I try to use the scraps up first before cutting into full size cardstock when I reach for a certain colour.
The other side holds my stamps.. I will have to either unmount them all onto Ezy Mount sheets and store them in CD cases or simply start to part with some of the discontinued ones which I don't use very often. …now don't go counting how many stamp sets I own!! lol..
My punches I keep on Ikea Rails, I think I only paid about $3.00 for each rail.
In this bookcase I keep all my Ribbons and other odds and ends. It could probably do with a tidy up as well sometime soon.
I know here in Australia we do not have the Stampin' Up! Ribbon Keepers so we have to look for our own ribbon storage solutions. I have found the Cropper Hopper Wire Ribbon Racks to be the most economical. I store the smaller ribbon spools on the lower tier and the larger ones on top.
Before I get inundated with emails where I purchased them from {lol} I'm petty sure that the ribbon racks are made by Cropper Hopper, I ordered them online from Craft Candy, I think they were just over $10 each and Sharon from Craft Candy gives a $10 discount on your first order.
There are other ribbon racks as well, they're by Marie Osmond and come in black.. They're slightly wider and more expensive, I have one of these on my desk filled with my favourite ribbons, so they're right next to me.
I'll organize my ribbons soon and will post a closer photo of these for you also.
Hope you enjoyed my little tour of my Craft Room….
