Strength & Hope Mother's Day Card

Hello My Stamping Friends,
Just a quick card today, I made a Mother's Day Card using nearly all Stampin' Up! products.  I thought it was time we move on to Mother's day cards :) now that Easter has passed by.
A very simple card really, I was itching to put a large flower into the middle and I think it looks effective.
The beautiful Stampin' Up! antique brad in the middle of my Prima flower has been dipped into a white pigment inkpad so it looks white and not dark antique silver. Quite pleased with the effect ...Hope it tickles :) lol
I also spritzed a little Kraft ink over the Hope & Strength & Hope flourish
Hope you liked my card today, I love hearing from my readers as it's so encouraging for me.  Do let me know if there is a stamp set or a particular theme you'd like me to play with :).

Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Strength & Hope
Card:      Marina Mist, Kraft, Whisper White
Ink:        Marina Mist, Kraft, White Pigment Ink
Others:   Scallop Border Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Pearls, Spritzer, Antique    Brad,  Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon
Non Stampin' Up!:  Prima Flowers

Upsy Daisy Easter Card

Good Morning my stamping friends,

I'm sharing with you a bright and happy Easter Card today using the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set.  I stamped the main image in Daffodil Yellow and then highlighted everything with a white Signo Marker so the petals look white like Daisy petals.

I think that Daffodil Yellow and Pear Pizzaz look great together, feels like springtime.   I'll have to make up some tags for Easter Baskets in this colour combo as well.

The weather is totally glorious ~ lots of sunshine and perfect blue skies,  it simply could not be more perfect for Easter, one would never think that we are heading for winter.

We have a busy weekend ahead and I'm really looking forward to it, Greg comes home from Los Angeles tomorrow, the kids are all home for the long weekend, Nick has his 9th Birthday on Saturday and of course we have Easter Celebrations on Sunday followed by Anzac Day early next week.

Have a fabulous Easter weekend everyone! :) and let's not forget the true meaning of Easter, let us be thankful and give praise to God!

Strength & Hope Card ~ Clean and Simple Stampin' Up!

Hello my stamping friends,

I have some cards in very simple Stampin' Up! colour schemes to share today.  Each card did not take long to make at all. So without much further ado here are some new ideas to show you today.
Melon Mambo
Marina Mist
Pacific Point
More Mustard

I stamped and clear embossed each image onto Whisper White Card. Sponged over the embossed image with ink.  Once dry I punched out the squares with the 1 3/8" Square Punch and mounted them on some black cardstock.  The decorative edge on the Black card stock was made with a Martha Stewart Edger Punch.

I scored lines on my Whisper White Card Base and attached my main image with stampin dimensionals  for added height and dimension :) The Stampin Up Basic Rhinestones were coloured with Alcohol based markers to suit.

The last card (More Mustard) is stuck on a little crooked but I bet you would not have noticed if I had not pointed it out lol..

Another Strength & Hope card

Hello my Stamping Friends,

Another Stampin' Up! Strength & Hope card to share with you today,  I'm really loving playing around with these stamps, they're just so lovely to work with.

My combination is Blush Blossom and Kraft teamed with Very Vanilla a cobo I'm really enjoying right now. I might try some brighter colours with this set tomorrow.  This card does not have a sentiment I thought the background words work well on their own as encouragement for its recipient.

I think the butterfly would look great embossed and inked over to get a reverse image..  I'll post some cards tomorrow, I have the next few cards buzzing around my head already lol..

If you haven't subscribed to my blog as yet, you might like to do so as I will have a blog candy give-away this week.. stay tuned.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend :)

Strength & Hope and a rolled rose Stampin' Up card

Hello my stamping friends,

Another Strength & Hope card to share with you today.
I really enjoyed making this card, it came together very quickly.  The little rose is just rolled Blushing Bride cardstock and I've attached it to a heart which I punched out with the Stampin' Up! Heart punch and then mounted on a Blushing Bride sizzlits heart.

I love how the tiny pink scallops of the die cut peek out under the punched out very vanilla heart.  It was glittered with some Dazzling Diamonds & 2 Way glue.

I added some vanilla taffeta ribbon, Stampin' Up! pearls, a punched scallop border, sponged the edges, some spritzing with a Kraft marker and of course the stamped background swirls from the Strength & Hope stamp set.

A very simple yet elegant card!

Stampin' Up!'s new Strength and Hope

Hello my stamping friends,

Don't you just love the new Strength and Hope stamps, I can see myself using this set over and over again.  I mentioned yesterday that I would be posting some cards which I have made using the new Strength & Hope stamp set from new Stampin' Up! mini catalogue.

I have had these cards sitting on my desk for 2 weeks now, it was the first thing I made when my Pre-Order arrived.

I used the new Framed Tulips textured embossing folder, such a versatile folder because you can adjust the size of the square or in this case rectangle which you wish to emboss.  I have reduced the width of the embossed area by moving the paper around and rolling it through my Bigshot sideways so it perfectly fits my image in its centre… very clever little trick..

I am really loving this colour combo at the moment :)  When I first stamped the pink card I thought that the butterfly looked a little washed out, I tried again in Perfect Plum and I feel that the combo looks very elegant.

***Stampin' Up! are donating $2.00 from every Strength & Hope stamp set sold to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation***

Stampin' Up! Elements of Style & punched vellum flowers

Hello my stamping friends,

I want to share a card with you which I made with the Stampin' Up! stamp set  Elements of Style.  I really love using this set because it's so pretty and feminine.  Stampin' Up! chalks were applied the main image which was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock and Stampin' Markers were used to put a little deeper colour into the flower centres.

It is such a feminine set I couldn't help myself in adding a further 3D element so I punched out some small flowers made of vellum and glued them on with my Tombow Multi Adhesive, coloured their centres with a Stampin' Up! marker and finished them with a little Stampin' Up! Basic Pearl in each centre.
The sentiment is stamped onto cardstock and punched out with the Modern Label Punch… You'll notice something new here.. It's the Decorative Label Punch (120907 $33.95 on page 11 of the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue).  I actually cut it down to size so it frames the Modern Label Punch beautifully.
This card has been sent to one of my customers who I hope has already received it by now as a lovely surprise in the mail :)

That's all for now, I'll be back tomorrow to share a card with you using the new Strength & Hope Stamp set featured on Page 23 in the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalouge.

Have a nice night everyone, hope you enjoyed my card :)
